About Zhemchuzhina Sibiri Winter Sports Centre

Pearl of Siberia, the regional winter sports centre about 40 km south-west of Tyumen, opened in 2011 with an IBU category A licence; the stadium holds 5,500 spectators plus about 2,000 places along the course and has 15 km of ski trails and 5 km of lit roller-ski track. Hosted the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2014, the IBU Open European Championships 2016, a World Cup stage in 2017 and the World Cup final in 2018.
