About A.V. Filipenko Winter Sports Centre
Biathlon and cross-country stadium in the Samarovsky Chugas nature park, first used for competitions in 1997, rebuilt after 2009 to IBU category A standard and named in 2010 after the first governor of Yugra, Alexander Filipenko; total capacity 15,000 spectators, 9,700 of them on permanent stands. Hosted the Biathlon World Championships 2003 and 2011 and the World Cup finals in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010.
